Hi,

I no longer live in York or are in any way connected to York University but if no-one on the group wants the monitor then you should consider giving it to the York University Computer Recycling Project before you hit Freecycle. They will either give the monitor to a charity or non-profit organisation that can use it, or sell it to a student. All profits made from sales are donated to charity.
