It will if the software makes assumptions about the screen size (which a
lot of software does).

A simple example would be to PRINT some text on a given line (text
origin is top left), then DRAW a box around it (graphics origin bottom
right). If your draw calculations are for a 22 line display, and you
screen has 25 lines, you'll miss.

We had some of these machines in school. They were modified back to run
in the UK, but some of the stuff on the utils disc was "interesting". I
think the Dogems game was unplayable.
