The Compact MOS asks NetFS for the time, and returns 13/12/1999 if
it gets no answer.
Unfortunately, even though the Master Compact MOS was written with
knowledge of the 7-bit NetFS year count, the MOS just uses the
lower 4-bit year count. So, it reports 1-Jan-1997 as 33-Jan-1981 !
