There has been virtually no interest in the software so I didn't fancy
spending loads of time writing something that would probably never get used
by anyone.

I also don't have access to any physical econet kit to test against so it
would be difficult to make sure it worked anyway.

I could probably try and set up an econet network using BeebEm and see what
might be involved.
