EDOSpat 4.30 is available for download from my homepage.

EDOSpat is a patch program for Opus EDOS 0.4, a double density disc
filing system by Alan Williams.  It adds fast whole-sector transfers to
OSGBPB and completes the API to Acorn DFS standards.

EDOS is compatible with Opus DDOS and Acorn DFS, and uses less memory
than either.  The double density format allows 80% more data per disc,
and eight times as many files.

    - *DRIVE is made an alias of *VOL.
    - Paged ROM calls &0A and &0F cause EDOS to flush all open
      files.
    - OSARGS with A=&FF and Y=0 causes all open files to be flushed.
    - OSGBPB 5 returns the drive number after the volume title and
      boot option.
    - OSWORD calls &7D..7F are ignored if EDOS does not own the
      absolute workspace, to prevent corruption of data.
    - The address of the extended vector table is fetched using
      OSBYTE &A8.
    - OSFSC 7 returns the correct range of file handles, &11..15.
    - The OPUS EDOS banner is printed with the conventional double
      newline.
