[BBC-Micro] *CONFIGURE Q

Ah-hah. F3!

If you set the keyboard emulation to PARTIAL and then hit F3, it does
a soft-reset of the system which drops you out at a BASIC prompt, as
you described. I assume this is what you did as well?

I'm sure I tried something along these lines on a much older version,
but could never get it into BASIC.

>From there, I could load DFS disc images fairly easily. It ran the
Master 128 version of Elite OK but - oddly - it choked on the loader
for Chuckie Egg - which it handles perfectly OK when run in the BBC
Model B driver. Very strange.

No idea how to help with the *CONFIGURE stuff. Perhaps it hasn't been
implemented?

You might also get more help in the MESS bulletin board:

Worth a shot,

Peter.
