[BBC-Micro] Am I saving or loading 1 byte too many....?

In the non-Beeb world I'm used to, the end address should be exclusive.
That is, save 3000-3FFF. A couple of applications however use inclusive
end address so it is not absolutely given.

As for the LOAD command, I suppose you can load part of a file by
giving both start and end address? Otherwise the file would load
until end of file.
