More importantly, the C15 and C16 connectors ('hot service') are rated
at 120 degrees C, rather than the 70 degrees C for the more common
C13 and C14 connectors.

Although I must admit that my kettle at home was supplied with a
C13 lead, but hopefully a 'hot service' version.
