<br><font size=2 face="sans-serif">I had a problem with my GoMMC - I have returned it to John Kortink. John has tested it and has advised me the GoMMC is OK and that I may have a faulty ROM socket on my Master 128k.</font>

<br><font size=2 face="sans-serif">I highlighted the GoMMC problem (the Master gave the message "Failed to obtain MMC size") a couple of weeks ago - many thanks to those who responded with ideas.</font>
<br>
<br><font size=2 face="sans-serif">In the event that the ROM socket (socket 6) is faulty how do I test if this is the case? Is it as simple as inserting another ROM and typing *ROMS or *HELP?</font>
<br>
<br><font size=2 face="sans-serif">If the ROM socket is faulty how do I go about replacing it?</font>

<br><font size=2 face="sans-serif">John has made a point about checking LK19. Indeed, what are the factory default settings for the jumpers on a Master?</font>
